David Barnett | President and Chief Executive Officer

David began his career in 1981 with C&S Bank (now Bank of America) in Greenville. He advanced to Senior Vice President before leaving in 1996 to join First Citizens Bank as an Executive Vice President and Division Executive responsible for commercial banking, leasing and cash management for the state of South Carolina. In June 2005, he left to form Pinnacle Bank of South Carolina. David has been very involved in the local community his entire career. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Greenville Local Development Corporation, and the Greenville New markets Opportunity Board. He recently served as the president of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Board and has served on many other civic and church positions. He is a graduate of Leadership Greenville and Leadership South Carolina. He graduated from Clemson University and the Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking.

David Weaver | Chief Credit Officer

A Greenville native, David has been in the local market since 1981, beginning with Bank of America (and its predecessors) where he served as Commercial Group Leader until 2002, before moving to BB&T and First Citizens Bank. His experience lies in commercial lending to businesses and professionals, in construction lending and in credit review and loan documentation. David also has extensive training as a strategic advisor to growth companies with respect to financial alternatives. He graduated from Furman University, the Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking, and he completed the MBA program at Clemson University. He volunteers for Habitat for Humanity, serves on the EPC Endowment Committee, and is an elder in his church.

Jim Stewart | Senior Market Executive

Jim brings over three decades of banking experience to the management team. He has been in the Greenville banking market for since 1993 and served as the Greenville Market Executive for BB&T for several years. He was the President and Founder of New Commerce Bank and served at First Citizens Bank as a senior lender for the Greenville office. Jim serves on the Financial board for the Foothills Presbytery and the Blue Ridge Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He served on the boards of the Greenville and Mauldin Chambers of Commerce and the Greenville United Way. He graduated from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and the Stonier School of Banking at the University of Delaware.

Tommy Warren | Chief Financial Officer

Tommy brings more than two decades of experience in community banking with an expertise in accounting, financial reporting, and operations. Prior to Pinnacle Bank, Tommy was CFO of a bank in Georgia with $380 million in assets where his responsibilities included managing the operations, accounting, investment and technology areas. He has also been CFO for three other financial institutions and was a CPA with PricewaterhouseCoopers for six years. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina earning a BS degree in accounting.

Hilda Brooks | Senior Relationship Manager & Commercial Lender

After graduating from Furman University, Hilda was accepted to the Wachovia Personal Banking School in 1987. She worked in Charlotte, North Carolina, and experienced all aspects of consumer lending and branch management. She returned to her hometown of Greenville in 1991 as a branch manager for Carolina First Bank. Hilda saw opportunity with BB&T and after joining the organization in 1997, she was integral in the establishment of the Small Business Lending Division in 2000. There she also won the Sterling Performance Award for small business two consecutive years. In 2003, Hilda continued to expand her banking skills by serving as a Private Banker for First Citizens Bank, lending to the affluent and emerging wealth segment. However, over the next six years, Hilda continued to develop her commercial lending skills and found small business lending to be the most rewarding in her career. Her diverse skill set serves perfectly for the challenges of a community bank, and Hilda was honored to join Pinnacle Bank of South Carolina in 2009 as Senior Relationship Manager and Commercial Lender. Hilda is a graduate of the South Carolina Bankers School, a board member for the Annual Giving Council of Furman University, and represents Pinnacle Bank at various civic and professional functions.

Jodie Keener | Vice President

A Greenville native, Jodie began her banking career with First Citizens Bank in 1979 as a personal banker while attending college at night. Her track record of success includes several years experience in Operations, Retail, and Small Business Banking. She has been actively involved in numerous non-profit organizations in the Upstate community including United Way, Ronald McDonald House, March of Dimes and many others over the years. Currently she is the SC PTA treasurer. She and her husband, Michael, have two children that attend Clemson University and Lander University.

Jean Kelley | Vice President & Loan Operations Manager

Jean Kelley is a founding member of Pinnacle Bank and previously served as an Assistant Vice President. As Vice President, Kelley will be responsible for managing all functions of Loan Operations, including document preparation for loan closings, loan review, and training.

Kelley began her banking career in 1998 at BB&T, where she gained experience in human resources and benefits administration, 401K/pension plan sales, and both processing and closing mortgage loans.  After BB&T, she furthered her career in commercial lending at several local Greenville banks before joining the Pinnacle Bank team.


Jeff Turner | Senior Vice President

A native of Pickens, Jeff grew up in Pickens and graduated from Pickens High School in 1983. He is a 1987 graduate of Southern Wesleyan University. Jeff has been in banking for twenty-four years, where he gained extensive experience in commercial and consumer lending.

Jeff started his banking career at First National Bank of Pickens County working there for eleven years. Jeff moved to The Peoples National Bank in Easley and worked there for thirteen years. Jeff is a member of the Pickens County Foster Care Review Board, and served as President of The Western Carolina’s Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Board.


Kevin Jones | Senior Vice President and Mortgage Division Manager

Kevin has over 25 years of experience in commercial and residential lending. He has more than 16 years experience with large commercial banks. Prior to joining Pinnacle Bank, Kevin owned his own mortgage business for more than 7 years.

Kevin graduated from Bob Jones University in 1985 and relocated to Greenville from Philadelphia in 1999.  He enjoys helping people finance a new home, restructure debt to save money, and acquire additional real estate holdings.

Kevin derives great joy in his role as father to two daughters and a son. His family enjoys spending time together. Kevin is also a musician and plays keyboard for his church’s worship band.

Tracy Woodruff | Vice President & Easley Branch Manager

Tracy Woodruff brings Pinnacle Bank 25 years of experience in the banking industry, boasting 10 years of working specifically in the Powdersville and Easley markets.

Before coming to Pinnacle Bank, Tracy spent time in customer relations, business development and branch management roles.

An active community member, Tracy has served on the Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors since 2010 and also serves on the Board of Directors of Rape Crisis Council of Pickens County.


Cindy Hansen | N. Pleasantburg Branch Manager

Cindy began her career in 1993 at a community bank in California. She relocated to Greenville in 2007 where she established herself in the community by working as a Realtor and managing a small insurance office. In 2011, Cindy joined the Pinnacle Bank family where she has demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities and a strong passion for her work. As Branch Manager of the main Pinnacle Bank branch on N. Pleasantburg Dr., Cindy is responsible for all branch activities from operations to lending, including customer relations and employee management.


Eric Lysak | Assistant Vice President

Greenville native Eric Lysak returned to his hometown after graduating from Roanoke College in Salem, VA, and working with First Century Bank Inc. in West Virginia. Eric joined the Pinnacle Bank team in 2013 as a Commercial Banking Officer and is currently pursuing a degree from the VBA School of Bank Management.

Sarah Armstrong | Assistant Vice President

An Upstate native, Armstrong graduated from Greer High School in 2003 and is a graduate of Southern Wesleyan University. Armstrong is actively involved in the Greer and Greenville communities and is proud to be working and serving in the area. She has over five years of experience in the banking industry including extensive work in deposit growth, lending and business development.
Sarah started her banking career with BB&T, and her transition to Pinnacle Bank was driven by the desire to partner with a hometown community bank.
Armstrong is a member of the Junior League of Greenville and actively participates in Relay for Life, the United Way’s efforts in Greenville and the Greer Chamber of Commerce.
