Imagine that your family members, friends, and loved ones who fought for our country returned home without ever truly understanding what his or her service meant to us all. Imagine that they are never allowed the chance to completely comprehend the gratitude and adoration felt by their country for their service. They are never granted the opportunity to see their legacy, as well as the legacy of those who fought beside and before them, set in stone. Honor Flight Upstate South Carolina is a non-profit volunteer-based program that is dedicated to honoring the sacrifices of veterans living and lost, by granting World War II and Korean War vets the opportunity to fly to Washington D.C. to visit the memorials erected in their honor.

The 4th annual Honor Flight Ride will take place on June 7, 2014, just one day after the 70th anniversary of D-Day. The first Honor Flight ride was held in 2004 to allow WWII and Korean War veterans the chance to become an eyewitness to the landmarks created in their honor. Pinnacle Bank is proud to show our appreciation for the sacrifices endured by our veterans by sponsoring the 2014 Honor Flight Ride along with Harley Davidson of Greenville.
