Kevin Jones, Mortgage Division Manager

Kevin has over 23 year’s of experience in commercial and residential lending. He has more than 16 years experience with large, commercial banks including First Union (now Wachovia) - the 4th largest bank holding company in the United States; and Mellon Financial Corporation - one of the world's leading providers of financial services for corporations, institutions, and affluent individuals. Kevin was previously responsible for First Union's upstate South Carolina lot loan program.  In addition, immediately prior to joining Pinnacle Bank, Kevin owned his own mortgage business for more than 8 years.

Kevin graduated from Bob Jones University in 1985 and relocated to Greenville from Philadelphia in 1999.

Kevin has been married to Joy for 20 years and derives great joy in his role as father to two daughters and a son. His family enjoys spending time together on the beautiful lakes of Upstate South Carolina where they water ski, knee-board, and simply appreciate being away from the distractions of their everyday lives. Kevin is also a musician and plays keyboard for his church’s worship band.

Micah Brandenburg, Mortgage Loan Officer

Micah began his career in the financial services industry ten years ago in the little state of Rhode Island. During the first six years of his career, he worked at two of the three largest banks in New England, listening to consumers and small businesses and giving them advice about how to accomplish their goals.

Since putting down his roots in the Upstate four years ago, Micah has been giving advice to families about how to strategically purchase, refinance, build, and renovate homes. Micah originates all six types of financing available to South Carolinians when purchasing a home - Fannie, Freddie, FHA, VA, USDA Rural, SC State Housing Authority. So, you can rest assured that you will be paired up with the best home loan for you.

As one of only three Certified Mortgage Planning Specialists in the Upstate, Micah's concerns and recommendations will address more than just your home loan. In your first appointment, he will help you to identify areas of your financial health that need improvement, set specific goals, and recommended other qualified professionals for you to consult with regarding insurance, long term planning for retirement and college, will and estate issues, as well as credit enhancement.
